<DIV>If I declare 'char junk;' as the first global var, it shows up in the map
as 41 bytes. If I look in that area of ram, I guess it looks like some sort of
ascii numbers with the residue of the last floating point printf the program
printed out. I think if someone is unfortunate enough to trash this area due to
a programming mistake, it causes weird stuff to happen. Maybe we could give it a
label like 'printfbuffer' so folks could stay away from it? I really like
Johannes' detailed map summary. Other items: can I make __flash a hilite in the
editor? What do you folks think about the utility of a pragma to turn on and off
expression eval using single or double floats? Would be useful in certain
critical sections that needed hi precision, like NMEA lat/long calcs, could be
turned off elsewhere. If you think this is a good idea, we should talk it up so
