In the area of "SRAM area "bss" = 1234 (0x4D2) bytes from 0x0128

these are all my variables...correct?

ok..if so most of the sizes are correct but there is one VERY wrong. I
have defined "done" as an integer and it is reporting a size of 44
bytes! The processor is an AtMega6490 and I'm at about 99% full.

Hi all,

if you are using the latest version of ICCV7 for AVR (7.13A), I'd like to ask
you to beta-test new Map File Summary IDE function to be released soon.

Thanks to the suggestions, I got from some of you, new Map File Summary tells
more details especially about flash usage ( e.g. if and how much flash space is
reserved for boot loader by compiler options) and the memory space left (for
flash and eeprom). And it calculates boot loader adresses correctly now.

To test it, just download
http://avr.jassenbaum.de/iccv7avr/files/mpdAVR.dll
and copy the dll to you iccv7avr bin directory (with IDE closed).

(URL will become invalid as soon as dll is part of iccv7avr setup.)

Thank you for support.

Best regards,
Johannes
