Hi Bengt.
If you believe the change came with 7.18B, try and downgrade to 7.17 to see if the behaviour is ok again.
Must also be nice information to Richard.

OK, in that case I just turn it off to get rid of it. This is a rather new
behaviour and I am pretty sure it started the same time as I upgraded to
7.18B from some 7.17. I have not updated anything else of the software tools
like AVR Studio. But I will check with our network guys if something is
changed on the server side.
