[Icc-avr] iccavr comport range/usb com port number

I zapped the com1 on my iccavr machine... plugged it into the wrong place...? I'll try and use a USB serial port but it looks like its com9 or 10... can anyone think of a way to get the USB port down into the com1-4 range? I guess I should uninstall the driver for com1... maybe that would free it up? Anyway of getting more com port choices in the terminal window Richard?
