I figured it was going to be something stupid, I was just hoping it 
was something stupid I was doing!  Timer one works funny. I can get 
it to run and the flags seem to work but it doesn't respond properly 
to requests to stop or change frequency.

Makes one wonder why they included support for the 261 if that little works.
